Dancing On Ice has been embroiled in another “fix” scandal after Gemma Collins was given the boot on Sunday night.

Viewers claimed Collins “knew she was going home” as they referenced a comment made by Phillip Schofield during Fairytale week.

One wrote: “#dancingonice it's all fixed, did you notice how smiley and relaxed. She knew that she was going, so she just got on with it. No posts about feeling nervous or sick etc etc. This show is a fix.”

Another said: “I tweeted last week that she would go this week! Why? Because Schofield said so! Just shows it’s a f****** disgraceful fix! #dancingonice.”

“Funny how last week @Schofe said Gemma ‘had another week left’ and now she gets eliminated. If that’s not a fix I dunno what is #DancingOnIce #itvatitagain #itv #fix,” blasted somebody else.

Schofield last week hit out at claims the show is “fixed,” insisting that he had only told Collins she would have “next week” because she was crying after her shaky skate.

In a series of tweets, he wrote: “You are hilarious with your conspiracy theory. Voting is independently adjudicated. I only know the result as I say it.

“Said it to Gemma cos she was crying. Oh btw .. it’s illegal to fix tv shows and I wouldn’t work on one that was.

“WE ARE INDEPENDENTLY ADJUDICATED!!! All votes are checked and agreed by an independent company.”

Collins became the latest celebrity to leave the ITV show on Sunday night, just ahead of next week's double elimination.

And Collins seemed to take the axe in her stride as she told Schofield and Holly Willoughby that it was "time to bow out".

Fresh from the final vote, Collins said: "I just want to bow out gracefully, it’s time to let them all go on. I wish them all the best of luck, they’re working so hard."

She added that she had "enjoyed working on her fitness" and revealed she had promised to buy partner Matt Evers a Gucci handbag for sticking by her.
