Coleen Nolan was mocked after she told Katie Price’s son that he looked “tanned”.

The Loose Women presenter welcomed 14-year-old Harvey onto the show with Price and his grandmother Amy to discuss their petition to curb online bullying.

On introducing Harvey Nolan said: “Hello Harvey. Looking well. You’re looking very tanned and lovely. And refreshed.”

Viewers were quick to pick up on her “big slip up” which some deemed ‘inappropriate’.

One viewer tweeted: “Did Coleen just say that Harvey was nice and tanned? Oh god she'll be kicking herself about that one later #LooseWomen.”

Another posted: “@loosewomen not really appropriate for Coleen to say this to Harvey?”

Price – who had Harvey with former footballer Dwight Yorke – invited her son onto the ITV chat show to discuss their anti-bullying petition.

Price is now waiting for the petition, which has had over 200,000 signatures, to be discussed in Parliament once they are back from recess.

The former glamour model said she is calling for punishments for online trolls, like those who have targeted her son.

“When it’s really bad there should be action taken,” she said. “All these online people, if they knew they could be punished as a consequence they might think twice about doing it.

“I can’t believe there isn’t a law to punish people like that. We want a register. If you interviewed someone for a job and they’re on the Sex Offender Register you’d go ‘I like them but not now I know that’. If you like someone and they came along with a criminal record for being an online troll you’d think ‘I don’t like that character’. Something needs to be put in place.”

A teenager was arrested in February on suspicion of mocking Harvey, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome.

The arrest came after a man, who sent Price abusive tweets about her son, apologised to her after being exposed as a troll.
