Show bosses had planned the entire first week around the US star, who claims to have had an affair with Donald Trump, but were forced to make last minute changes in her absence.

She was allegedly set to become the house President but was replaced by Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley.

Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival Ben Frow said: “We built a whole week around Stormy. I flew someone out to accompany her here. She disappeared on us.

“I was bloody furious actually, we built the White House and the whole goddamn thing around her.”

It was reported that Daniels pulled out after asking producers for an extra £100,000 on top of her record £750,000 pay cheque for just one week in the house.

Daniels slammed the reports during an interview on Loose Women, insisting she donated her entire fee to charity.

Daniels said she attempted to come to an agreement with Channel 5 bosses to star on the show for a week for a “substantially smaller sum” due to her ongoing case with President Trump.

But a custody development involving her child left her feeling “uncomfortable” entering the famous house on launch night.

She said: “I did the pre-tapings, then I got word there was a development in my custody case, was very honest and I said to the producers I was uncomfortable spending a night in the house and I wanted to be able to talk to her. Being a mum comes first.”

Daniels also claimed she was threatened with deportation and told she would not feature on the reality show at all despite asking to appear on the live launch night to apologise for pulling out.

A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother said at the time: “Stormy Daniels was booked to appear on the show several months ago and hours before the show was due to go live, informed the production team that she no longer wished to enter the house as previously agreed. Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house.

“Our focus is now on making a brilliant series with our fantastic celebrities.”

Celebrity Big Brother is on Channel 5, tonight at 9pm
