Britain’s Got Talent gets cut-throat when it comes to the semi-finals.

While nine acts perform live in each show, there are only two available slots in each to go through to Saturday’s final episode – and bagging a space is tough.

However, there is another hope for those who just missed out on a spot in the final round of the talent competition – the wildcard vote.

At the end of Thursday night’s semi-final, viewers will be invited to vote for one of the acts who came third in any one of the semis.

Whichever receives the most votes will have another chance to storm the competition – but who should it be?

From Sunday’s semi, it’s singer Kathleen Jenkins, whose rendition of One Day I’ll Fly Away wasn’t quite enough to see her straight through.

Monday’s episode saw ballet dancing couple Shannon and Peter narrowly miss out, despite giving another stirring, emotional and romantic performance.

On Tuesday, young ballet dancer Jack Higgins was edged out by Star Wars-themed Boogie Storm, causing some outcry from viewers – will the support he’s already had be enough to see him get the wildcard?

Then there’s body-popping contortionists Tumar KR who, despite delivering one of the best routines of Wednesday night, didn’t manage to topple Balance. One more act will enter the wildcard vote from Thursday’s semi-final.

There’s a lot of good will especially for Shannon and Peter and Jack Higgins, so it could be a ballet act that makes it through – but with so many dancers and singers in the final already, Tumar KR would certainly add some variety to Saturday’s final.

Stay tuned during Thursday night’s show, and prepare to vote.
