Hurray for laugh-aloud spoof

Hip those hurrays and cheer, for here is a funny show. Part circus, part sit-com send-up, Jump mixes Korean martial arts, physical comedy and champion-grade tumbling with a wink to soaps and a spoof of all things ethnic.

It is a fast, confident two-parter, a modern-day mix of Buster Keaton, The Incredibles and the Seventies TV show Monkey.

Jump tracks the antics of a family who biff-baff-bosh each other in martial-arts challenges, only to find themselves boshed back by a Lardy and Hardy pair of burglars. There's no speech, but lots of running and shouting,

The Koreans spoof the hi-tech special effects in films like Crouching Tiger by creating brilliant lo-tech, flesh-and-blood ones of their own. There are also brilliant DIY sound effects, laugh-aloud tumbling and a hilarious cross-dressing of cultures. Did I say five stars? Make it 50.

Until 26 February. Information: 0870 737 7737.
