Patrick Stewart is stage veteran Robert to Joshua Jackson's young actor John in David Mamet's bittersweet examination of the jagged uncertainties of a life in theatre.

Director Lindsay Posner, who tackled Oleanna with mixed success last year, takes the helm for this portrait of two actors chewing the fat at a clapped-out, old rep theatre.
