The small festival with big bands is returning to Hackney this November for another winter music spectacular, and all in the name of charity .

Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions sets up camp for the second year running at the St-John-at-Hackney church - last year included Elbow and Marina and the Diamonds - for six nights of music from some of the biggest acts and upcoming names in the music industry.

Kicking off on November 20, so far the line-up includes Richard Hawley (21st), The Maccabees (23rd) and Noah and the Whale (24th). Support for The Maccabees - who will be playing their latest album Given to the Wild in full - will come from upcoming blues singer Jamie N Commons, while Richard Hawley will be joined by Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit and west London’s very own folk-pop singer-songwriter King Charles. Opening up for Noah and the Whale will be Villagers’ Conor O’Brien, London duo Daughter and special guest Lucy Rose.

Curating the sessions will be another famous face: BBC Radio 2's Jo Wiley, who will be hosting each night alongside the bands as a Mencap (the charity supports people with learning disabilities and their families) ambassador.

Stay tuned for The Maccabees' as-yet-unannounced very special guest and details of the three remaining nights of music.

Book your tickets from Monday October 8 and get ready to see some of your favourite artists fill up this tiny church in Hackney, all for a brilliant cause.

Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions @ St John-at-Hackney Church, E5 0PD. Tickets on general sale from Monday October 8. For more info and to buy tickets go to littlenoisesessions.org.uk
