Leicester Square cinema to screen all eight Harry Potter films back-to-back

It'll be... wizard? Magical? Spell-binding? Actually quite boring?
Good luck: cinema goers have the chance to endure this all over again

The Prince Charles cinema off Leicester Square is set to screen all eight Harry Potter films in one 21-hour marathon over the May bank holiday.

Potter lovers and those suffering from insomnia will arrive at the cinema for an 8.30pm start on Sunday April 30. The films will then be shown in order, concluding at 5.25pm on Monday May 1.

Tickets will cost £30 for members and £32.50 for non-members.

The first film, Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone was released in 2001, while the final film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, part two, came out in 2011. This screening spans only slightly less time.

Though it may be difficult to believe anyone would want to endure 21 consecutive hours of any film, let alone willingly suffer through the first two Potter installments, the cinema say they’re running the epic screening “after years of requests.”
