Kate gets shirty in Hollywood

Three days ago it was Russell Crowe who was unable to control his temper. Now it's Kate Winslet's turn to find the pressure of being a celebrity is sometimes just too much.

She was all smiles as she left Heathrow with 17-month-old daughter Mia in a baby-carrier on her back, but her expression hardened when she landed in Los Angeles and photographers started taking pictures of Mia.

Ms Winslet, 26, told them: "I don't mind you taking pictures of me, but please stay away from my daughter." When one photographer followed her into the parking lot, she snapped: "Look, I've tried to be nice, but would you just back the f*** off now." Then she ran to a waiting car and was driven off.

Russell Crowe pinned a TV executive against a wall at Sundays' Bafta awards dinner because a poem he recited in his Best Actor acceptance speech was cut from the BBC's broadcast. ( Click here for full story )
