Iron Man 3 trailer

Robert Downey Jr is back as Tony Stark aka Iron Man in this action extravaganza, also starring Gwyneth Paltrow as love interest Pepper Potts and Sir Ben Kingsley as terrorist foe The Mandarin.

In the third instalment of the Iron Man series, and the first solo outing for a member of the Avengers since last year's superhero team-up Avengers Assemble, Tony Stark has become a recluse, obsessively building new technology for his powered suits, until a dangerous arch-enemy (Kingsley) draws him out of hiding.

The co-writer and director is Shane Black, who also directed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, one of the first films to take on Robert Downey Jr after his career moratorium.
