Engaging documentary

10 April 2012

Blagging, beaches and Nike all feature in Gabe and Benjamin Turner's engaging documentary, with football integral but not central to the mix.

How apt. The film's five British subjects idolise Diego Maradona; but will their freestyle football skills get them from New York to Buenos Aires to shake his hand?

Their odyssey has the energy of an MTV video, the hot air quotient of a reality TV contest and the weary intelligence of They Shoot Horses Don't They?
