India talks go on for De La Rue

Banknote printer De La Rue is still in talks with India's central bank over tackling the quality issues that emerged last year, prompting a spate of resignations at the business.

Supplies were suspended to the bank last summer. The firm is trading in line with expectations, but its update had little to cheer up investors after French suitor Oberthur abandoned a takeover bid earlier this week. Shares dropped 8.5p to 690p.
