Fund managers: crisis is not over

Fund managers in London are among the most gloomy with nearly three quarters convinced that the financial crisis is not over.

Research by New York-based business advisors FTI Consulting found 73% of senior fund managers in the capital don't believe the crisis has ended.

US and Australian investors are also pessimistic, with 76% and 80% respectively claiming there is more pain to come, compared with 62% in Asia and 59% in Europe.

FTI chief executive Jack Dunn said: "The majority of funds surveyed did not believe the financial sector has recovered since the pinnacle of collapse in September 2008."
