Jimmy Choo steps into new HQ in Victoria

Luxury shoemaker Jimmy Choo is joining the flood of top-end fashion brands into Victoria after signing a new lease with landlord Land Securities.

Jimmy Choo is taking 37,000 sq ft at LandSecs' 123 Victoria Street as it moves its headquarters from Kensington. The company joins other luxury global brands in the area including Tom Ford, Burberry, LVMH and Richemont. It is understood it will move when the developer's refurbishment of the 200,000 sq ft offices is completed in June - one of the relatively few West End office schemes due to hit the market this year.

Meanwhile, investment bank BNY Mellon has taken out a new lease on its Canary Wharf home in 1 Canada Square in the latest boost for London's Docklands. Mellon, which has been a tenant at Canary Wharf for 13 years, will pay £42.50 a sq ft for the space.
