Indian tycoon Subrata Roy attacked at court

Indian tycoon Subrata Roy was today covered in black ink as he arrived at court.

A supposed lawyer threw ink at Roy, whose Sahara Group is worth an estimated £6.6 billion, shouting: “Subrata Roy is a thief. He has cheated and robbed us.” Two Sahara businesses are accused of raising £2.3 billion through bonds that were later found to be illegal. India’s securities regulator claims they have not paid the money back to investors, but the companies say they have repaid most of the money and that their liability was much less.
